  • Uuh.... thanks, Ashley.   Oh! that doesn't work here, huh?  kiddin'   Okay, here goes....

10 years ago I was: 13..growing up in a foreign country and missing my friends and family, my language...and just the American way of life.

5 years ago I was: 18..in my first semester of my freshman year in Bible college (roomin' with Reg!) ..dreading having to speak in chapel..and still wanting to study government and go into politics.

1 year ago I was: getting used to a new job, getting used to making more money, and realizing they have to pay a little more to keep people who are actually willing to be that bored.

Yesterday I: was off from work, at home reading my Bible, and watching the book of Acts dramatized on dvd.

5 snacks I enjoy: (uhhh only 5?)  granola bars, yogert, Pan Bimbo (little personal loaves of like poundcake from Mexico...the best), chocolate, dorittos

5 songs I know all the words to: Through It All, When I Think About The Lord, Amazing Grace, Falling In Love With Jesus, I Love You More ...

5 things I would do with 100 million dollars:  pay tithes, bless some very worthy Christian ministries and organizations (such as SOC International and Voice of the Martyrs), buy my parents a new house, pay my sibs' college bills if they'd let me (and if not, buy myself a new car..*snicker*), visit all those countries I'm dying to see...

5 places I would run away to: Panama City, Florida; New York; Washington D.C., Chicago, or maybe Colorado

5 things I would never wear: those stupid "cutie", "princess", etc. shirts;  a cowboy hat, chucks, daisey dukes, combat boots with anything other than a military uniform

5 favorite TV shows: COPS..of course!  Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Who Wants To Be a Millionaire....and old shows like I Love Lucy.  Nah, really I don't even own a tv, but if you're going to waste your time, these are the ones worth wasting it on (now that doesn't even make sense, does it)

5 bad habits: speeding (oh yeah), speaking too softly, laughing too loudly in quite places, annoying people making sure they don't want it before I eat the last of something, making people feel weird with blank looks

5 biggest joys: Jesus Christ...living for Him and just feeling the fellowship in prayer; music - listening to it, playing it, or writing it; when me and my sibs actually get to spend quality time together; satisfaction of helping or giving to someone; the awesome season of Winter!

5 favorite toys: like kid toys??  definitely legos! and barbies.  legos.  go-carts. and more legos!
Now it's my digital camera, my keyboard, ipod, computer, and my car I guess, since it's so fun speeding around curves while dodging potholes

5 fictional characters I would date: how could you date a fictional character? uuhh...maybe Calvin from Cavin & Hobbes - if he ever grew up...?  Legolas?  I don't know... I guess I don't really think about it

5 favorite movies: the Passion of the Christ,  Pride and Prejudice,  Lord of the Rings trilogy,  Sherlock Holmes series (with Jeremy Brett),  Jane Eyre

6 people I tag to do this: John Rocker, George P. Bush, Bishop T. D. Jakes, Condi Rice, Rush Limbaugh, and Mom .... why do I get the feeling it's not gonna happen

  • You wake me in the morning.  I open my eyes -
Overwhelmed by blessing, that flood into my mind.
I could never repay for everything You do -
I'm just so thankful for another day to say, "I love You."

When I think of who You are, I can't help but stand in awe -
I love You as a Brother, King, a Friend, and my God.
My heart is full, and words seem small and few -
But deepest feelings are revealed when I say,"I love You."

I love You more than the very air I breathe.
I love You more than anything this world could offer me.
I love You more than I did yesterday,
For giving me another chance to say,
"Jesus, I simply love You more."

About Me

  • My greatest desire is to truly know God - to know Christ in the fellowship of His suffering and in the power of His resurrection. I currently work in a public library, but I love ministry and am involved in prison ministry in Mexico when I have the time off from work. I have a brother and sister, Jeremy and Regina, of whom I'm very proud, and a 15 lb. cat named Tyler who loves me:)
